Watercolor Home Painting Commission

Celebrate, memorialize, and honor your home or the home of friends or family with an original watercolor home portrait print. Home portraits make a wonderful gift for newlyweds, new home owners, or those who have moved to or from a beloved home. 

House portraits feature a simple ink drawing which is then watercolored with care and attention to detail. A hand lettered name, a short message (e.g. The Byrds, or The Johnsons have moved), address, or date can be added if desired. Please use the "Personalization" box to type what you would like written, exactly as typed (we can decide on formatting, spacing, etc. throughout the design process) such as the family's name, the address or city, etc.

Next, choose the lettering style you would like (or "no writing"), and size of the painting. 

Oxford, MS locals can use the code SHIPSHAPE at checkout to remove the shipping cost and pick up your painting from my home. 

Once your order has been placed, please email me at gabyrddesigns@gmail.com with attached photos of the house.

Instructions for taking and sending pictures:
Straight-on pictures taken on a cloudy day (or at a time where there are not major shadows) work the best.
Let me know if there is anything in the pictures that you don't want featured in the painting, and please include photos from several angles if there is something you don't want included in the painting that is hiding part of the house (e.g. if you don't want a huge tree in the front yard pictured, please send a picture that shows the part of the house that the tree is hiding so I can piece it together).

I do not include vehicles, people, or pets in my paintings.

I will include the foliage, landscaping, and sky surrounding the house, unless you specify otherwise (e.g. one customer asked that I not include any sky in her paintings). If there are blooming plants, shrubs, or trees that you would like included that are not blooming in the photos, please just let me know what type of plant and the color and I can include that. 

Once the photos are received and the details has been agreed upon, the painting will be shipped or available for pickup within 1-4 weeks (you will be notified if the details of your order require more time).

If you wish to have prints made of the painting, please notify Grace Anne Byrd so a scan is sure to be made before shipping.

This painting is for personal use by the customer ONLY, and may not be reproduced for business, marketing, re-sale, or any other purposes without express permission from Grace Anne Byrd Designs (GABD). The image painted is the property of GABD and may be reproduced by GABD for resale, marketing, and other purposes at any time.
